Spinal manipulation

Spinal manipulation is a basic technique used by chiropractors to realign the spine. When the spine is out of alignment, it puts stress on the soft tissue that supports it, and it can result in muscle spasms and pain. An accident such as a car crash can cause misalignment and whiplash. Adjustments can be done manually, or if you prefer a more gentle approach, we also offer the Activator. This spring-loaded instrument delivers a precise tap that is so quick, your body doesn't have time to tense up, which makes it very effective. As a neck pain specialist, we know this works very well for neck pain.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy can be used as cold pack cryotherapy or full body cryotherapy. Both of them can help with neck pain depending on what exactly you are suffering from. If your neck pain is acute, the cold pack cryotherapy can help with the initial pain and swelling from the injury. If your neck pain is chronic, a full body treatment may help to kick start your recovery.

Microcurrent therapy

Microcurrent therapy uses small amounts of electric current to work on the body's own electric currents. Electrodes will be placed on your neck and the current is so slight that you won't feel anything. It helps to speed up healing and to reduce pain. It is often used in conjunction with other chiropractic therapies.

Cold laser therapy

This therapy uses light that is applied to the affected area with a hand held instrument. It works deep below the skin's surface to heat and stimulate the cells to heal themselves. It reduces muscle spasms and stimulates endorphins which are your body's way of dealing with pain.

Chiropractic rehabilitation

With chiropractic rehabilitation, the patient plays an active part in their own recovery. With the use of foam rollers or massage balls, you are able to work the areas of your body that are causing pain.
